Chande Children

As many as 35% of children are stunted because malnutrition is a major problem.  About 53% of the population is under the age of 18 and 1.2 million children are orphans without family support. HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis are two of the major health problems. Lack of education in the country is a major problem because there are insufficient schools for the 800,000 school-aged children.
